Ledgely

Last updated: April 1, 2026

Ledgely is a personal finance app designed to help users record expenses, monitor budgets, review recurring transactions, and import transaction data from supported sources.

Summary

Information processed by the app

The app may process information that you choose to enter or import, including:

Camera and Photos

If you choose to import a receipt or spending image, the app may access the camera to capture a receipt image and Photos through Apple’s system picker to select an image.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app may schedule local notifications on your device for missed logging, budget thresholds, and recurring transaction reminders.

Backup and restore

If you choose to export a backup, the app creates a file that you can save to iCloud Drive or another location you select. If you choose to restore from a backup, the app reads the file you select manually.

Data sharing

The app uses a shared local app group container to support its widget extension. This allows the widget to display budget information from the app’s local data.

Network access

The app is designed to work without a required developer-operated account or cloud backend. If a future or optional feature uses network access, it is intended for limited supporting functionality rather than uploading your personal transaction history as part of the app’s core local-first workflow.

Crash and diagnostics

The app may store limited crash diagnostic information locally on the device using Apple-provided system frameworks. This information is used to help diagnose stability issues and is not uploaded to a developer-operated analytics service by default.

Data retention

Your data remains on your device unless you delete it, delete the app, or export or share it yourself.

Your choices

Children’s privacy

Ledgely is not directed to children under 13.
